The Indian VALORANT squad Global Esports, build a 10-man VALORANT lineup in preparation for the 2023 VCT season and one of the 10 teams that gained a position in the Asia partnership league, is planning to enlist further players.

The 10-man squad that Global Esports intends to create will apparently need Riot Games’ approval, and they will boot camp in Korea. The six players that should represent the squad in the VCT So Paulo competition in 2023, the first of the franchised program in VALORANT, will subsequently be chosen by the company.

Ganesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar, Bhavin “HellrangeR” Kotwani, Akshay “KappA” Sinkar, Jayanth “skillZ” Ramesh, Abhirup “Lightningfast” Choudhury, and Pranav “Kohliii” Kohli are the six Indian players presently under contract with Global Esports.

10-man roster Proposal Was Announced

Expanded rosters have previously been explored in other esports like League of Legends and CS:GO. The Indian team’s strategy hasn’t been tested in VALORANT, at least not in the top-tier environment. The most recent significant organization to give it a shot is Evil Geniuses, which is presently home to 15 Counter-Strike players from North America.

Following news that Global Esports and Bleed eSports, another Asian organization, were in negotiations to unite for VCT 2023, the 10-man roster proposal was announced. However, since Riot apparently objected to the alliance taking place, the negotiations stalled.

Global Esports will face off against Paper Rex, ZETA DIVISION, Gen.G, T1, DRX, Team Secret, DetonatioN Gaming, Talon Esports, and Rex Regum Qeon in the Asia collaboration VALORANT competition.
